All Wharfedale speakers sold through avrevolution.com.au and our authorised dealer network carry a 1-year Australian warranty, extended to 3 years when registered with AVR within 90 days of purchase, and are supported locally — no overseas returns required. • How many What Hi-Fi? Awards has the Wharfedale Diamond series won?
The Wharfedale Diamond series has won 14 What Hi-Fi? Awards since 2020 — making it one of the most consistently awarded speaker ranges in the world at its price point. The Diamond 12.1 held the What Hi-Fi? Award for Best Standmount Speaker Under £300 for multiple consecutive years. The Diamond 12i (launched December 2025) refines the bass-reflex port, tightens driver tolerances, and introduces three new finishes while retaining the same AU price as the original 2020 launch.
• What is the difference between the Wharfedale Diamond 12 and Diamond 12i?
The Diamond 12i is a refined update to the award-winning Diamond 12 series. Key changes: improved bass-reflex port geometry, tighter driver production tolerances, and three new finishes (Deep Black, Stone Grey, Classic Walnut). The price is unchanged from 2020. New buyers should choose the 12i. Existing Diamond 12 owners do not need to upgrade.
