The flagship 18” subwoofer in the series, SPL-X 18 houses a four-layer 102mm voice coil, 15kg motor, and delivers up to 1,800W RMS (2,500W peak). At 550 x 560 x 620mm, it’s built for large rooms and listeners who demand real infra-bass—clean, seismic, and in full control down to 13Hz.

THE COMMAND OF CARBON FIBRE

SPL-X’s carbon fibre cone is ultralight and exceptionally rigid, enabling fast, piston-like movement with minimal distortion. It preserves the fine contours of bass instruments and cinematic effects alike—delivering clarity, texture, and transient precision that lesser materials simply can’t match.

SPL-X’s Class D MOSFET amplifier delivers up to 1,800 watts RMS and 2,500 watts peak—without sacrificing precision. Designed in lockstep with the driver, it supplies clean, efficient power that protects detail, preserves dynamics, and keeps distortion out of the musical equation.

BUILT LIKE A BASS VAULT

Each SPL-X model features a sealed high-density fibreboard (HDF) cabinet with internal bracing, 25–35 mm thick walls, and a reinforced front baffle. This design minimises resonance and eliminates port noise, ensuring clean impulse response and deep, tight bass—even at high volumes .

DRAMA BEGINS WITH THE DRIVER

Triple-stacked ferrite magnets, a four-layer voice coil, and a 15 kg magnet assembly give SPL-X a formidable motor system with extension down to 13 Hz and ±3 dB response reaching up to 250 Hz (model dependent), delivering visceral slam and fine-layered detail that turns dynamics into drama, and silence into suspense.

TAILORED TO YOUR SPACE

SPL-X includes a calibrated measurement microphone and uses the Velodyne Acoustics AutoEQ SUB app for precision room calibration. So you can initiate sweeps from both the back panel or app to analyse in-room frequency response and apply DSP corrections for clean, coherent bass performance.
