Velodyne is the undisputed authority in low-frequency reproduction. Every design, from driver to DSP, is engineered for precision, power, and musicality. With models spanning compact sealed cubes to reference-grade cinema beasts, Velodyne delivers bass that transforms music, movies, and games into visceral, full-body experiences.

Dedicated to the lowest octaves, subwoofers extend your system’s reach into deep, tactile bass you can both hear and feel. They relieve main speakers of demanding low-frequency duties, adding scale, impact, and immersion—whether it’s the rumble of film soundtracks or the foundation of live music.

EXPLORE NEW DEPTHS OF ENTERTAINMENT

Deep Blue Series distills Velodyne’s decades of subwoofer expertise into four compact, closed-box designs—each purpose-built for accuracy, agility, and immersive low-frequency extension. From hi-fi to home cinema, Deep Blue delivers fast, articulate bass with the control and depth to transform any room into a performance space.

DEEP BLUE 15

The largest model in the series, Deep Blue 15 combines a 15” high-excursion driver, massive 75mm voice coil, and 1,000W dynamic (450W RMS) power in a sealed 425 x 445 x 488mm enclosure. Designed for serious rooms and systems, it delivers commanding bass down to 16Hz—deep, dense, and detailed.

FINELY TUNED LOW FREQUENCY

Deep Blue’s continuously adjustable 0°–180° phase control lets you fine-tune timing alignment between subwoofer and mains, tightening mid-bass response and minimising phase cancellation, which is crucial for achieving seamless low-end integration across your entire listening position.

PASSES WITH FLYING COLOURS

With a 12 dB/octave low-pass filter adjustable from 50 to 200 Hz, Deep Blue integrates effortlessly with any main speaker setup. This flexible crossover ensures smooth frequency blending, letting you tailor the sub’s output for cohesive, full-range performance in any room.

DEEPLY ARTICULATE

Deep Blue’s sealed MDF enclosure is compact yet acoustically inert, with a thick 52mm front baffle and rigid internal bracing. This closed-box design eliminates unwanted resonances, focusing energy into clean, articulate bass that hits hard without muddying the mids or highs.

A CLASS ACT

Class A/B amplification delivers up to 450W RMS and 1000W dynamic peak output, giving Deep Blue the muscle to reproduce sudden transients and sustained low-end with composure. From thunderous movie effects to subtle musical textures, power is delivered with precision and headroom to spare.

ALWAYS AT THE READY

Deep Blue’s signal-sensing on/off circuit powers the subwoofer on when audio is detected and switches to standby when idle. A three-way selector (Off, Auto, or On) lets you choose your preferred mode, balancing hands-free operation with energy-efficient, always-ready performance.

BIG BASS, SMALL PACKAGE

Don’t let its size fool you. Deep Blue dives deep. From 25Hz down to 16Hz (depending on model), Deep Blue brings floor-rumbling bass to space-limited rooms. A compact sealed design that fits discreetly, yet delivers with authority when the moment demands.

DEEPLY CONNECTED

Whether you’re running a modern AV receiver or vintage amp, Deep Blue fits right in. Gold-plated RCA line inputs, LFE input with passthrough, and nickel-plated speaker-level terminals provide broad compatibility—ensuring seamless integration into stereo, home theatre, or hybrid systems.
