Featuring a further developed true ribbon high-frequency driver, entirely new driver diaphragm composites, and breathtaking cabinet design, Revela captures the essence of Quads longstanding mission: The Closest Approach To The Original Sound.

REVELA 2. ALL-OUT POWERHOUSE

This 3-way floostanding loudspeaker includes a true 27 x 60mm ribbon high frequency driver with 6” (150mm) midrange and dual 6.5” (165mm) advance fibre cone drivers. At 962 x 350 x 320mm, Revela 2 is an all-out powerhouse for medium-to-large listening/living room.

HEAR THE TRUTH

Revela employs a true Ribbon high frequency driver, not a cheap imitation. This demands higher quality materials, more costly manufacturing processes, and much greater design skills to seamlessly integrate the high and mid frequencies. But there’s no substitute for the truth in your music.

REVEALING THE TRUTH OF YOUR MUSIC

Revela exhibits entirely new driver diaphragms aptly labelled ‘Reveal™’. This advanced fibre composite is more rigid, better damped, with greater excursion properties. And that translates to lower distortion, increased speed and dynamics, as well as improved low frequency musicality.

REVELA GOES HARD

True ribbon technology is more difficult and costly; it’s true. But it’s also extremely low mass and well damped, reproducing unrivalled detail and remarkably spacious high frequency audio. Quad chose the hard path to give you goosebumps from every single play.

THE HIGHEST QUALITY HARMONY

Poor crossover materials, design, and implementation can ruin your listening experience, resulting in tonal imbalances, distortions and blurring. It’s why Revela incorporates a phase-compensated Acoustic Butterworth crossover network, as well as Computer-Aided design combined with hundreds of listening hours. This way each driver fires in perfect harmony.

Custom engineered stands made from the finest materials, and finished in exquisite piano lacquers with dark chrome trims, match the exemplary fit and finish of Revela 2. So it won’t just be the audio quality from your system that stands out.

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

Beneath Revela’s stunning cabinetry is a multi-layer sandwich construction of different wood densities, bonded by layers of damping glue. By mitigating panel resonances and inhibiting internal soundwave leakage, Revela ensures that you hear only the quality of your music, not cabinet colourations.

LISTENING EXPERIENCES WITH FLARE

Reflex port designs increase mid/bass response and reduce amplification requirements, making loudspeakers more efficient and better performers. But it requires finesse. Revela’s flared, precision-tuned port tube design cleverly avoids unintended resonances and boominess to give you mind-blowing listening experiences.
