Founded in the 1970s as a company dedicated to acoustic innovation, Mission quickly established itself as a leading loudspeaker manufacturer with models like the iconic Mission 700 the first of its kind to introduce inverted bass & treble arrangements. Today, Mission very cleverly fuses Hi-Fi heritage with contemporary design to deliver on its mantra: music is the master, technology is the slave.

Bookshelf speakers are often cited for being affordable, compact, and efficient. So, they’re cost effective, easy to position and require less amp power – making them a highly attractive option. While they don’t produce the same presence as floorstanding speakers, they’re often thought to produce better imaging properties.

EVOLUTION NOT REVOLUTION

QX series has long penned a stereophonic love letter to fans of high fidelity. So, rather than rewrite the book, QX MKII employed modern optimisation technologies to further refine and finesse this incredible design. It’s evolution, not revolution. And the results are breath-taking.

FLOOR-STANDING TO ATTENTION

These 2-way floorstanding loudspeakers feature 38mm textile ring dome tweeters and 2 x 135mm composite long fibre drivers. The additional driver in combination with its large chassis ensure QX-3 MKII roars wall-to-wall in medium to large-sized listening spaces.

TURNING OLD IDEAS UPSIDE DOWN

Inverted Driver Geometry positions the high frequency below bass and midrange drivers. By equalising each driver’s signal path between loudspeaker and listener, IDG fine-tunes time alignment to give you an accurate, compelling, and ultimately rhythmic listening experience.

HARDER BETTER FASTER STRONGER

DiaDrive bass & midrange drive units replace standard cone and dust cap arrangements with seamless curvilinear diaphragms. And with an improved acrylic fibre cone material, DiaDrive MKII now response even faster, even harder to deliver a more breath-taking music experience.

YOUR NEXT MISSION

Tired of loudspeakers resembling scent diffusers? Arranged in three stunning finishes, QX MKII combines Hi-Fi heritage with contemporary design to ensure your listening space is the envy of friends, family, and Facebook followers alike.

REACHING DEEP INTO EVERY TRACK

MKII improves its ribbed port design to further smooth diffraction, enhance airflow, and avoid chuffing. The result is enhanced low frequency with lower distortion. So, kick drums thump, cellos bellow, and bass notes of all kind thunder with greater authority.

COMB TOOTH SMOOTH

Taking its ground-breaking serrated driver surrounds to a new level, MKII makes use of detailed air-flow analysis to further scatter reflections for an even smoother frequency response. Free of harsh peaks and muffled dips, you’ll enjoy long hours of articulate listening.

PUT A RING ON IT

MKII takes development cues from Missions ZX series to further improve its ring dome treble design. Using woven textiles in a double-ringed arrangement, with a twin rear cavity, QX MKII produces more detailed high frequencies with much lower distortion.

FOR FANS OF HIGH FIDELITY

Aluminium top plates remain in MKII to increase cabinet stiffness and reduce colouration. But the addition of semi-circular cabinet arcs smoothens driver diffraction to yield even better power distribution. So, MKII not only looks better it sounds better too.
