In 2020, IAG (International Audio Group) sees LEAK – a onetime British audio heavyweight founded in 1934 – returned to its former glory. LEAK combines its renowned 20th century art-deco styling with today’s most advanced audio technologies to deliver timeless style with modern talent.

CD Transports don’t include DACs (Digital to Analogue Converter), requiring either an amplifier with inbuilt DAC or a seperate DAC component within your system. Because DAC quality varies significantly, Transports are a versatile choice allowing you to customise, upgrade and evolve your sound quality over time.

THE POWER OF AN ICON

Owners of heritage hi-fi understand that it’s not about being retro but capturing the essence of an era – the excellence of its music, its art, its design. This excellence is machined into the very fabric of each LEAK piece so that your every play is iconic.

ONE FOR THE FANATICS

LEAK CDT is one for the fanatics. From its ultra-smooth loading mechanism to its electromagnetically-shielded enclosure; from its read-ahead buffering to its temperature operated anti-jitter, every consideration was made to serve those true, die-in-the-wool fans of the Compact Disc.

LESS NOISE. MORE MUSIC.

LEAK CDT uses a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator to control the master clock, significantly reducing digital distortion known as jitter. With less noise and more music, CDT ensures that your music moves you.

USB READY CD LIBRARY

LEAK understands that your CD library is no longer constrained by shelf space. So, CDT comes equipped with USB playback functionality, supporting digital storage devices that use WAV, MP3, AAC, and WMA formats – up to 48kHz, 320kps.

A DAB OF ART-DECO

Inspired by the 60s art-deco design of its London factory estate, LEAK CDT includes a classic brushed aluminium facia encased in a beautiful walnut finish. Not only will your partner love it, you’ll be the envy of all your friends.

LOAD ONCE. READ AHEAD

Tired of disc read errors – loading, ejecting and reloading again? LEAK CDT makes this a thing of the past with its premium read-ahead buffering. Now all you get is pure, unfettered play.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Excellence is about attention to detail. LEAK CDT shields the CD mechanism from electrical interference, ensuring signal purity. This way, CDT significantly enhances sound performance drawing detail from your CDs you didn’t know existed.
