Driven to Keep You Spinning Since 1907. Under the new ownership of Dr Josef Zellner, Dual launches an entirely new line of turntables, redeveloped & rebranded for contemporary vinyl enthusiasts.

From storing, cleaning, and procrastinating over our precious collections to Saturday morning music conversations over coffee at the local record store, owning and playing vinyl records is a labour of passion. It’s this passion that inspires us to continue refining the art of record play, so that what we build inspires an even deeper connection to the music collections we all so deeply love.

While semi-automatic turntables require you to manually drop the needle to begin playing records, their automatic function lifts the tonearm once the record finishes playing, preventing unnecessary needle wear.

THE NEXT EVOLUTION

Your records are hiding details you’ve never actually heard—and your turntable is the limiting factor. But Dual’s all-new CS 718Q is a table of uncompromising precision and fine-tuning, designed to unlock the most intricate expressions of vinyl playback.

A TONEARM TRANSFORMATION

Perfect tracking geometry (VTA +5 mm / -2 mm) combined with greater responsiveness (carbon/aluminium tube) plucks a new level of micro detail from records, transforming the entire spatial and emotional experience of vinyl listening.

ALL-TERRAIN TRACKING

A German-made precision spiral spring maintains consistent micro-gram downforce for unshakeable vinyl playback, making unplayable, warped, or imperfect records the bread and butter of 718Q’s gravity-independent, spring-applied tracking force system.

IRON-LESS MAIDEN

An ultra-quiet, Ironless DC direct-drive system ensures complete absence of low-level mechanical haze. Without iron core motor chatter, subtle acoustic details are free to emerge effortlessly from an inky black background, giving your music more precise timing and depth.

TWIN GIMBAL. TWICE AS GOOD

Precision twin gimbal design eliminates the friction and play that suffocate high-end cartridge resolution. So you can pair 718Q with the highest quality cartridges, unearthing levels of detail from serious pressing unavailable to lesser turntables.

PERFECTION ON A PLATTER

Massive rotational inertia from 718Q’s precision die-cast platter and mat combo crushes micro-speed fluctuations, while full-surface rubber damping kills ring dead. So you get pure, unwavering pitch with absolute low-end slam.

BEST OF ALL WORLDS

Why choose between punchy MM dynamics or the delicate, low-output sweetness of MC? 718Q’s quick-release, precision-machined headshell with integrated azimuth clamp gives you greater cartridge flexibility and fine tuning, so you can rotate cartridges as often as records.

DIALED IN

Wonderfully tactile and truly effortless, Dual’s speed selection dial makes flipping between your favourite records a dream. Sling singles, start a 78 collection, or line up a playlist of LPs. It’s too easy and way too much fun.

NO MAN'S LAND? NAH MAN

Dual’s latest-generation, switchable auto-stop feature is for the modern vinyl slinger. Drop the needle, set and forget. It’s an untethered analog experience free from the anxiety of stylus grind in no man’s land. Or switch and ditch it for audiophile purity.

ALL ABOUT BALANCE

Conventional turntables are choked by ambient hum, RF noise, and electromagnetic haze riding along unbalanced cables. But Dual’s native balanced XLR outputs destroy interference before it ever hits your preamp, creating an inky-black backdrop for the finest micro-details to step into the light.
