Audio Visual Revolution (AVR) is Australia's exclusive distributor for Quad. All Quad amplifiers, speakers, and electronics sold through avrevolution.com.au and our authorised dealer network are genuine, locally warranted, and supported by the official Australian importer.
Quad was founded in Huntingdon, England in 1936 by Peter Walker. The brand is widely documented in hi-fi literature as the pioneer of full-range electrostatic loudspeaker technology — introducing the Quad ESL in 1957, widely cited as the world's first commercially successful full-range electrostatic speaker. Quad is now part of the IAG Group alongside Wharfedale, Mission, and Leak — all exclusively distributed in Australia by AVR.
