In 2020, IAG (International Audio Group) sees LEAK – a onetime British audio heavyweight founded in 1934 – returned to its former glory. LEAK combines its renowned 20th century art-deco styling with today’s most advanced audio technologies to deliver timeless style with modern talent.

Integrated amplifiers cleverly combine both pre and power amplification stages. Responsible for attenuating speaker volume and input selection control from varying sources (CD players, network streamers, Blu Ray, etc), integrated amplifiers are a popular all-in-on choice for all listeners.

A MORE POWERFUL ICON

Owners of heritage hifi understand that it’s not about being retro but capturing the essence of an era – the excellence of its music, its art, its design. This excellence is machined into the very fabric of each LEAK piece so that your every play is iconic.

STEREO 230

This 75Watt per channel integrated amplifier is designed for serious music/movie enthusiasts. Inside its classic chassis beats the heart of a modern beast, with HDMI ARC connectivity, 32-bit ESS Sabre Reference DAC, JFET-based (MM) phono preamplifier and HiRes aptX Bluetooth compatibility.

FURTHER REFINED TO BLOW FINE AWAY

Most modern loudspeakers will play fine with 50 Watts of power behind them. And that’s fine, if fine’s the sort of experience you want from your favourite albums and films. But with an extra 25 Watts of class A/B grunt, STEREO 230 is further refined to blow fine away.

HDM-WHY?

Modern televisions more closely resemble computers than the old Tv. So with access to an ever-increasing number of streaming apps to binge your favourite series or HiRes music streaming apps for albums and live recordings, HDMI Arc makes your integrated amp a complete entertainment system.

MAD FOR MQA

MQA technology folds up huge packets of data to seamlessly stream high resolution original master recordings. But to unfold everything and enjoy the complete experience you need MQA compatible technology. And Stereo 230 is fully Master Quality Authenticated.

A DAB OF ART-DECO

Inspired by the 60s art-deco design of its London factory estate, STEREO 230 includes classic rotary dials over a brushed aluminium facia encased in a beautiful walnut finish. So its designed to wine and dine but also rock out.

TURNTABLE READY

No classic amplifier worth its salt comes without a high-quality, low-noise turntable input. That’s why STEREO 230 is fitted with a JFET-based moving magnet phono stage. It’s sound quality to inspire that quick dash back to the record store.

UPHOLDING TRADITION

With easy-to-adjust rotary dials to give you complete bass and treble control, STEREO 230 upholds your favourite stereo traditions. But if purity is your music signal of choice, LEAK’s signature DIRECT switch-to-bypass button delivers true uncoloured quality.

SOMETHING BORROWED SOMETHING BLUE

LEAK took the look of a classic 60s amplifier and made it wireless. Enter AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs. Now you can enjoy all your favourite podcasts & playlists in CD-like quality without connecting a thing.

UNLEASH THE BEAST

Beneath its classic art-deco features beats the heart of a contemporary beast. With updated ES9038 Sabre32 Reference DAC, HDMI Arc, USB, Optical, and Coaxial inputs, STEREO 230 ensures your hi-res digital audio files strike with lacerating detail (384kHz PCM & DSD256).
