Audiolab 9000CDT CD Transport

$2,199.99

Founded in the UK in the early 80s, Audiolab has earned world-wide acclaim for its combination of functional elegance and superior audio quality. With countless awards, as well as being the reference amplifier for Britain’s What Hi-fi? review team, Audiolab has established itself as one of Britain's leading audio electronics manufacturers.

CD Transports don’t include DACs (Digital to Analogue Converter), requiring either an amplifier with inbuilt DAC or a seperate DAC component within your system. Because DAC quality varies significantly, Transports are a versatile choice allowing you to customise, upgrade and evolve your sound quality over time.

BE TRANSPORTED

Digital’s original format is arguably still the best, creating deeper listening experiences than even the highest HiRes streaming options. And thanks to unparalleled attention to detail, Audiolab’s 9000CDT goes deeper, transporting you into a world of vivid detail and wonder.

FOR TRUE FANS

9000CDT is for the fanatics. From its high-precision optical system to its 4.3” LCD display; from its read-ahead digital buffer to its high-accuracy crystal oscillator, every consideration was made to serve true fans of digital’s original format, the mighty Compact Disc.

THE LITTLE DIFFERENCES

9000A employs a low-friction loading tray combined with robust aluminium base and chassis to eliminate signal impurities caused by minute resonances from the optical pickup assembly. Because attending to minute details makes a massive difference to your listening experience.

OLD FAVOURITES MADE NEW

In addition to 9000CDT’s consummate resonance control, its transport is mounted within an isolated, electromagnetically shielded enclosure with a dedicated power supply. The result is extreme digital signal retrieval that transforms your favourite albums into vivid musical landscapes to rediscover.

HIGHER GRADE READING

Tired of disc read errors – ejecting, cleaning and reloading again? 9000 CDT uses a high-precision optical system with premium electronic data buffering. Where competing players fall short, 9000 CDT reads ahead to ensure that you get pure, unfettered play.

NOTHING BETWEEN YOU & YOUR MUSIC

9000CDT uses a high-accuracy crystal oscillator to control the master clock, substantially inhibiting digital distortion known as jitter. These astonishingly low levels, from both coaxial and optical outputs, allow the music through, placing you in the room with your favourite recording artists.

RIPPED, RECORDED & STORED

A dedicated USB ‘Type A’ input offers stored music file compatibility with every significant HiRes and lossless audio format like WAV, AAC and WMA, as well as compressed legacy MP3 formats. So if you’ve ripped, recorded and stored it, 9000CDT will play it.

STAY CONNECTED

Stay connected with both coaxial and optical outputs, and a 12V trigger for easy start-up. Plus, by feeding the coaxial output from a differential line driver, 9000CDT ensures a flawless digital signal reaches your chosen DAC.
