Audiolab 7000CDT CD Transport

$1,299.99

Founded in the UK in the early 80s, Audiolab has earned world-wide acclaim for its combination of functional elegance and superior audio quality. With countless awards, as well as being the reference amplifier for Britain’s What Hi-fi? review team, Audiolab has established itself as one of Britain's leading audio electronics manufacturers.

CD Transports don’t include DACs (Digital to Analogue Converter), requiring either an amplifier with inbuilt DAC or a seperate DAC component within your system. Because DAC quality varies significantly, Transports are a versatile choice allowing you to customise, upgrade and evolve your sound quality over time.

THE CD SWEET SPOT

Looking for that sweet spot between beginner and serious CD enthusiast? 7000CDT serves up a balanced combination of Audiolab 6000 and 9000 series tech and features to create a deeper listening experience for serious fans of digital’s original format.

FOR TRUE FANS

7000 CDT is one for the fanatics. From its ultra-smooth loading mechanism to its electromagnetically-shielded enclosure; from its read-ahead buffering to its temperature operated anti-jitter, every consideration was made to serve those true, die-in-the-wool fans of the Compact Disc.

GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

7000N includes a 2.8” full colour IPS LCD screen with interactive GUI displaying system settings, format, folder, and track details, including the exact PCM resolution (in kHz) of the CD or stored music file you’re playing.

RIPPED RECORDED & STORED

USB HDD support allows you to access HiRes or lossless stored digital files like WAV, AAC, and WMA, including compressed legacy MP3 formats. So, if you’ve ripped, recorded, and stored it, 7000CDT will play it.

ENGINEERED TO BE INTIMATE

Audiolab understands that listening is an intimate experience. By fusing the premium traits of both entry (6000) and high-end (9000) series’, the 7000s new low-friction loading tray and sturdy aluminium base is engineered to feel like an extension of you.

EXCELLENCE IN ISOLATION

Excellence is about attention to detail. 7000CDT shields the CD mechanism from electrical interference, ensuring signal purity. This way, 7000CDT significantly enhances sound performance drawing detail from your CDs you didn’t know existed.

LOAD ONE READ AHEAD

Tired of disc read errors – loading, ejecting and reloading again? 7000CDT makes all that a thing of the past with its premium read-ahead buffering. This way, all you get is pure, unfettered play.

MUSIC RIGHT ON TIME

7000CDT uses a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator to control the master clock, significantly reducing digital distortion known as jitter. With less noise and more music, CDT ensures that your music moves you.

CONNECT WITH YOU MUSIC

Stay connected with coaxial and optical outputs, USB HDD input, and a 12V trigger for easy start-up. Plus, by feeding the coaxial output from a differential line driver, the 7000CDT ensures that a flawless digital signal reaches your chosen DAC.
