WHAT IS SPOTIFY CONNECT?

HOW DO I SET UP SPOTIFY CONNECT
• Have a premium Spotify subscription
• Set up Spotify Connect on your speaker/component
• Open Spotify and tap the speaker icon (bottom right)
• Select your device.
Using Audiolab’s all-new Omnia Network Streaming Amplifier (with Spotify Connect functionality) as an example, you’ll need to first connect the unit to your Wifi network. This is done by installing Play-Fi on your smart device.
Once Play-Fi is installed, it’ll prompt you to connect to your Wifi network. This is an automatic process conducted in seconds requiring ZERO passwords. And once that’s done, you can open Spotify, tap the speaker icon in the bottom left corner of the application, and select the PLAY-FI DEVICE to get connected.
Of course, you can then go into the Play-Fi app and rename your device to lounge room or kitchen or even customise it entirely to ‘Omnia’ so as to make finding your system much easier. But that’s it! That’s all you need to do. And once that’s done, you’ll never need to use the Play-Fi app again.
